Honeycuttfam.com 7.0

You have to at least give me credit for keeping Honeycuttfam.com 6.0 for longer than most the other versions. Found this new theme and thought, “Hey, I can’t sleep… why not.” I made 7.0 especially for my special wife. I love you sweetie.

Sledding

sleddin

The family went out to Coeur d’Alene to do some sledding with Shay, Nick, Caleb, Mom, Christian, Zach, Isabel, Chad, and Janie. It was a fun little hill in a “yet to be built” housing development. I’m pretty sure I cracked a rib, going too crazy. Even Mom had some sleddin action.

New Pictures

Ruthie got her hands on a marker and decided to “tattoo” herself. She drew tiger stripes up both her arms and drew a person on her belly. When I asked her who it was, she told me it was Aunt Jo Jo.

Sam loves listening to lots of different kinds of music. He recently discovered his dad’s MP3 player. Every time he finds it, he wants to listen to it. I took this picture of him listening to some hardcore.

Tonight we had pizza for dinner. Sam chowed down two slices leaving quite a mess behind.

10 Things: Ruth

Ten things I love about Ruthie:

1. I love her crazy “Naked Dance”
2. I love when she asks me, “You like my bootyful dress Dad?”
3. I love when she sings, “Sing Sweet Nightingale”
4. I love when she softly strokes my beard when I carry her
5. I love how she blesses the food at suppertime
6. I love when she talks about her different Care Bears
7. I love how she pretends to be sleeping, then says, “I tricked you Dad!”
8. I love how we play soccer in the living room
9. I love when she laughs when I nimble on her neck
10. I love her tough little personality… she’s my little spitfire

I love daddy’s girl!

Pennsylvania Trip

Ruthie, Sam, and I were lucky enough to get to spend nearly three weeks in Pennsylvania this December. It was so nice spending the Christmas season there. We put together a slide show of some of our favorite pictures.

Ah! Zombie Democrats!

A zombie movie starring:

JJ: Republican man
Sara: Republican woman
Rich: Democrat Zombie
Stasia: Democrat Zombie
Chad: Reporter

Today is JJ’s Birthday!

Although we already celebrated it on Saturday, JJ turns 29 today! Not only did JJ get to celebrate his birthday with cake and gifts, he also got to see the Seahawks win and the Steelers lose in the playoffs that day, so it was a pretty special day for him. Happy birthday, we love you!

Happy B-day Adrianna!

Hope you had a wonderful birthday yesterday girly! I had my birthday party yesterday, too.

Happy Birthday!

While the kids and I were in PA, we celebrated December birthdays. Joanna, my Mom, Aunt Pam, and soon to be “official” family member, Brian, all had birthdays in December. Of course, where there’s cake, there is Ruthie too. birthdays.jpg

NY/PA Trip

Well, Sara and the babies have been in Pennsylvania and I have been in NY for the last couple weeks. Sara playing, me working. Unfortunately it looks like I have to be in NYC until Christmas Eve, working on a project. I can’t wait to get home and see my sweeties. I miss everyone in Washington and Idaho.

Rich, Stasia, and the kids are doing well. Adrianna is getting ready for her big day when the Food Bank picks up all her collected food. Aarvis is moving along smoothly considering the few setbacks we had. We just got our new place in New York Mills, NY and will start to move in next week. We are starting an installation in Long Island, NY tomorrow and will last for over a week.

All in all things are great. Pray for Sara and the babies for safe travels from PA on Wed.

Princesses on Ice

Ruthie bellLast Wednesday night, Ruthie and I went to see Princesses on Ice. It was so fun to see Ruthie react to everything, it really showed me how much my little baby has turned into my little girl. She would light up and laugh every time a new princess came out on the ice. Her favorite part of the show by far was Tinkerbell, but the surprise appearance of Mickey and Minnie Mouse was also one of her favorite moments. I wanted to get some good pictures of her reactions, but I’m not the skilled photographer that my hubby is, so I don’t really have anything that turned out too well. We don’t get a chance to go to many events like this, so it was a real treat for both of us. Thank you JJ for surprising us with the tickets!

Jeep Found

rick gomez Tonight has been a rather somber evening in my neighborhood of (the usually very quiet) Greenacres. It seems as though the Jeep that killed the local boy, 14-year-old Rick Gomez, was found at a house of a young couple who lives across the street from me. Rick Gomez was struck this last weekend about a half mile away from our neighborhood, right down the street. He was killed by the collision and the Jeep fled the scene. The couple who own the jeep, are in their mid twenties and actually have children of their own. I pray for both of these families but especially for the Gomez family. May their son and brother be greeted by God in paradise.

I took a few photos tonight and spoke with some of my neighbors and news crews. This event is quiet shocking to us all.

Jolly Elves

Today the kids decorated the Christmas tree and made Christmas cookies. Then came my Christmas photo attempt. We better head down to JC Penneys.

Thanksgiving 2007

There is plenty to be thankful for this year. It was nice to share dinner with family and appreciate our blessings together. I hope everyone had a great day!
